And even the Academy joked. This was the funniest part of a pretty funny show.
I couldn't find a great photo of Lance Black or Sean Penn, but MILK's wins touched my heart. Kate Winslet also deserved this Oscar sooooo bad that I was thrilled for her win.

The telecast this year was great. The bar was pretty low so that isn't saying a whole lot but I did enjoy it more than any other time I can remember. Hugh Jackman was good - very different and not only is he gorgeous but he's very talented. I liked the grouping of awards instead of traipsing out a million different celebs. The only thing that was a little annoying is how much Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were on the show. Disney/ABC is sure riding that High School Musical train as far as it will go.
Ugh! I know! Zanessa were EVERYWHERE! Like Timberlake at the Grammys! "What? SOmeone cancelled last minute?! Call Justin Timberlake!" Though, who says, "Someone famous just cancelled last minute!? Get me Zac Effron!"
