Palin's Ties to Domestic Terrorism and Her Witchdoctor

Though Keith Olbermann is a misogynistic gasbag, I still respect his ability to make a 10 minute "Special Comment" that is unlike anything else on TV. He really is a throw-back to the "old days" of journalism where people really went after a story. Sadly, these days, those people are called commentators and the Bush-fed rubber-stamp media whores are called journalists. Sarah Palin must be out of her mind to directly associate herself with people who assert that Barack Obama is "pallin' around" with terrorists when Mr. & Mrs. Palin have been "pallin' around with terrorists for years and as recently as last year. When Keith is right, he's really right. This is worth a watch and a forward to your friends.

An Avalanche Of Lies: Who Will Dig The Country Out?

It would appear that after 7 years of cowering in George Bush's shadow of terror, fear, and control the press are in fact finally starting to "grow a pair" as Amy Pohler as Hillary Clinton admonished them to. Here's a clip of Chris Matthews actually playing hardball with a guest on HARDBALL. Charlie Gibson, you should perk up and take notes on this.

And CNN "fact checked" the McCain/Palin ads and claims so far and found many, many, many examples of half-truths, mis-statements, and outright lies. Where was THIS kind of reporting before we got royally screwed by the baseless, pointless, and costly Iraq war?

VERDICT with Dan Abrams has been canceled. Boooooo! Suck it, MSNBC! Not only is Dan Dan The News Man the cutest newsie, but he is one of the few who doesn't take himself too seriously. The last show was a best-of bonanza. Though, it was sad. It must suck to have to do your last show on a week's notice. Dan was always fair and multi-faceted. VERDICT had real depth and great debates, as well as hilarious takes on some silly topics too. I'm quite sure Mr. Dan Abrams will turn up somewhere soon. As he mentioned at the end of the show, this was his third "good-bye" show on MSNBC in the past 5 years, so don't count him out yet. Yaay (sorta). Bye for now, Dan. Stay cute! xoxo

Dan Dan the news man!

Keith is out, and Dan is in. For years, I loved MSNBC's Keith Olbermann for being the only credible news person to stand up to Dictator George Bush and puppetmaster Cheney. He regularly takes Bush to task for his lies, thievery, and out-right disregard for any American citizen who makes less than $100 million a year. Keith topped my future husband's list when gay guys were pissing me off. But, I just couldn't take Keith's ceaseless Hilary-bashing, so now Keith is off my TiVo. In his place -- and actually following his show -- news hotty Dan Abrams has stolen my heart. Dan is much less pompous than Keith, and he actually lets he guests speak. I like his more analytical style to dissecting the news. Like Starrrr Jones, he "is a lawyer!" And, just this week, MSNBC (finally!) re-packaged his show to become VERDICT! with Dan Abrams. The graphics are hip and cool without being so in your face (like CNN). THANK YOU MSNBC for no crawl during Dan's show!! He has great segments like "Winners and Losers" where he picks 3 people having a really good day and 3 people having a really bad day. "Beat The Press" highlights goofs, gaffes, and mix-ups on live TV from MSNBC and the media at large. He even makes fun of himself. I love that! The new "Reality Bites" segment is a bit of a misstep in the credibility department basically showing the "wacky" YouTube-type clip of the day.
